I was ind of hoping to have something special for the 20th doodles post but since I barely got to posting this, it'll have to wait. 21 is a special date to you know.

a More finished sketch for my canto project. I actually started it and it looks nothing like this. If it doesn't get better soon i might scrap attempt 1 and start over... the sketch here is how i wan it to be. the painting it onto a masonite board is not going to hot...

Daily doodles #19
Back on track for my doodling. Of course, it also means back to school...
I finally finished my linoleum cut in AP art. This is the first set of prints on 3 different types of paper. I still need to go back and carve some more out after seeing the first print.
Thats all for now. Happy depressed singles day.

Mid-Winter Convention
So this past weekend was Mid-Winter convention for EPA and Hagesher. The name tags I did at International convention in december went over so well that people came to me yet again for my decorating talents.
And the final one of the convention was for Leah Nassau. She was actually the only person who actually gave me something to draw which was nice since I didn't have to take the effort of making stuff up as I went or adapting other pictures I had on my tiny Ipod nano screen. You can't tell in the picture but the sky is slightly blue.
---
I'm pretty sure that these Are in chronological order here. The first one is Aaron Myers:
Request: "Draw a fire pit. or something with fire all over it. can you put like an obsidian cliff on it? or a mountain that works too"
Product:
Noah Bender: Draw something cool. but not fire or desert-y.
Product: (after tilting your head 90 degrees to the right)
Shara Katlin: "Draw something Pretty with a sun set."
I persnoally think this one came out the best out of all of the ones that I did over the weekend. Lucky her.
I can't exactly remember whose this was... there was a stack I was given and I got the privilege or working on it while getting a viewing of Shir Perfection's practice . It was Part of the saturday night batch that I did. this one is inspired by a picture of painter's point in yellow stone. again you need to tilt your head to see it.
Just keep your head turned....
another saturday night one.
This one was mine which I started first on friday but ran out of time because of shabbat and didn't finish it until saturday night.
This was the last one of saturday night. Dara Levinsky requested this out of my Ipod photo collection:

And thats all for now. Hopefully I'll be back to doodling consistently this week..

Daily Doodles #18
So yesterday I didn't have anything posted because I actually had schoolwork to do. *gasp* anyway, I finished everything and got through exams and presentations with flying colors so now I get to sit back and do nothing for a while.
Here's some doodles from today.

Daily Doodles #17
So I've been Really lazy about posting stuff lately. There's more stuff now though.
Purple and Yellow jelly fish mosaic from math class. If you look carefully it will show you stare at it long enough it will show you how to do lots of pointless calculus stuff that you will never again in your life actually need to know.
Weirdness from humanities. I was told that apparently the weird furry things I drew look like characters from some show or comic. I don't remember which one, but I'm guessing it was Japanese.
Typography sketches. I finished It digitally but, inkscape wasn't letting me save it in an exportable format and I'm too lazy to deal with it.
a zoom-in of one of my current oil paintings. I'm slowly working on finishing parts of it and the first part was the bridge. hopefully I'll get another section done tonight.
Stippling. ....................... lots of dots.... I didn't get to finish it since after 5th period i got distracted by my linoleum cut project during which i proceeded to cut my finger for my 2nd time in as many work sessions. apparently the challenge for me is not completing it, but rather completing it with all my fingers attached. anyway its hard to tell what's what because the entire background in the was supposed to be near black, but that clearly never happened.
Small Noah's Ark sketch
And a sketch I started at one point then went to go bowl and turned rocks into bowling. Sort of like water to wine but better. I'm just amazing like that.
Thats all for today. If all goes as planned, I'll have more tomorrow.

Daily doodles #16
So I had a productive day today
First doodle of the day. Mosaic Style.
Random sketch instead of going over the math midterm
So a look into my painting process.
Step 1: Block in a base layer of colors. (by the way rotate the picture to the left 90 degrees)
Step 2: a 2nd layer, to show highlights.
(flip this one 180 degrees)
Step 3: scrap the first Idea and paint over the entire thing with an unrelated picture you like better.
And another example of this. I've gone over this painting 4 times already. first was a beach, then failed abstracts twice and finally the landscape further down the page.
And I Almost finished this one from a few weeks ago. just need to finished the trees up.
